Ohtsu is the capital city of Shiga prefecture, Japan. It is famous for Japan's largest Lake Biwa. Unknown to me was that the people in Ohtsu have produced Ukiyoe-like pictures of their own since Edo era. I imitated one of them to make this efuto.

as for my Greenpeace work, well, i must confess i haven't done anything too productive in that area, but at least I carry my tote bags to every store here in the US in order to use NO more plastic bags, and i am giving away some of this recyclable bags to my friends as well... also I finally switched to recycled paper for all my home use, tissue paper, 'kleenex', and paper towels, i've been buying recycled paper, it's very little effort, but looking forward in the future to do something more, will keep you posted :)

I am doing the same: no plastic bags, no kleenex, and using "eco-bags." How about plastic bottles?
