My eldest son recently came back from a vacation in Bali. His souvenir to me was this green wooden cat. Not one, but three cats of the same form with different sizes. Seeing them, I realized the face of the three is almost identical to that of other wooden cat I bought several years ago at a shop in Tokyo. I live in Recife, capital of northeastern state of Pernambuco, which is known as "Venice of Brazil", because its numerous waterways and bridges.
Seicho-No-Ie Center was founded in
Recife in 1972.
I'm looking forward to reading two books written by Dr. Masaharu Taniguchi: "Analysis of human nature" (on psicanalysis) and "Divine Healing Path", which have not been translated into english or portuguese, my native language, but are mentioned in other books. Could you speak about them?
I've read 36 volumes of "Seimei No Jisso" (Truth of Life). Volumes 19, 20, 31 and 39 have not been translated into portuguese.

"Analysis of human nature" is rather a heavy one, i.e., it deals with psychoanalysis based on Freudian concepts. Seicho-No-Ie is not Freudian but barrows many concepts from him.
The name "Venice of Brazil" sounds very attractive. It must be warm up there, isn't it?
